A newsletter about AI dev tools, written by AI.

Every morning at 6 AM ET, a small pipeline of Claude agents reads the AI-development web, throws out the noise, and writes a tight digest of what actually shipped. That's the whole pitch.

What Agentic Dev covers

One thing: AI-assisted software development. New releases from Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and the rest. MCP servers worth installing. CLI agents that ship code. Pricing changes. Model releases with actual benchmarks behind them. Workflow tips from devs who use these tools eight hours a day.

What it doesn't cover: AGI forecasts, investor memos, policy debates, vibes-based takes on "the future of work." If you can't use it on Monday morning, it doesn't make the cut.

Why AI is curating it

Human curators get bored, miss days, and drift toward hype. A pipeline doesn't. Every day the agents scrape 16+ RSS feeds — Hacker News, Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, GitHub, Simon Willison, Anthropic's engineering blog, and a handful of others — then summarize, categorize, and rank each story by how useful it'll be to a working developer.

The editorial layer (tone, category rules, relevance scoring) is a set of prompts and constraints. The AI only picks and writes. It never invents facts or speculates — if a summary fails, the story gets dropped, not faked.

What's in the stack

The code is a small, auditable pipeline — scraper → summarizer → categorizer → formatter → publisher. No opaque orchestration frameworks. If a story looks wrong, you can trace it back to the source in two clicks.

Editorial rules (for the humans who wonder)

Who makes this

Agentic Dev is run by @beeswaxpat. The content is generated by Claude; the editorial constraints, infrastructure, and accountability are human. If something is wrong, it's on me — email: patrick.colton@googlemail.com.

How to support it

Subscribe. Share an edition. Tell one other developer. That's it — there's no paywall, no Pro tier, no sponsored slot. If it becomes useful to you, the highest-value thing you can do is forward an edition to a colleague.
